I have posted lots of pictures of Charlie on my Facebook but haven't said much about him so I figured I would do both here since I haven't had much to say and he is a BLAST to talk about!!

Charlie is a product of my brothers full bred Bloodhound, Collijah and his South Korean mutt Sophie. My parents drove out to Fort Benning  to pick him up as a teeny tiny puppy. 5 months and about 40 pounds later he is SOME doggie!!

Charlie has bonded quite a bit with my mother. To the point that, when my dad got back from ROTC camp,he began proving that my mother was HIS property by peeing on ONLY my fathers things!!! My brother said there was an easy remedy for this and all my dad had to do was go toe to toe with this dog by peeing on Charlies things. Needless to say he did not do this. Charlie's territory issues soon subsided when he realized that the ENTIRE BACKYARD was all his, from my mothers strawberry plants on one side to the climbing viney things on the other side. Each day has been a new adventure for my mother being able to wake up to find out what glorious new changes await her in the backyard...

Because Charlie is part Bloodhound he is gonna be a LARGE DOG!!! He proved his strength during his first month by stepping THROUGH my parents screen door...

Sooo my mother enrolled Charlie in doggy school at her local Pets Mart. Each and every Saturday mom and Charlie ventured out into the world to learn how to be a good dog. Charlie has learned to sit, stay, wait, heal without an act of God! Charlie has gone from thinking every finger is a Pupperoni to actually waiting for the treat to be offered because he did good!! Today Charlie graduated from Puppy School and it was quite the celebration!! He gets to wear a cap and gets a certificate as well!!

As a special treat he got to ride in the middle and in Saab ALL THE WAY HOME !!

Charlie is quite the artistic pup as well!! He does have some hound dog in him as previously stated but he only uses this beautiful serenade when he is accompanying Annabeth as she practices her Cello, any other day he is just blissfully, dorkily silent and happy!!! I have the video but can't quite figure out how to make it show up on my blog... bummer

Anyway that is Charlie in a nutshell he is a blast and we love to talk about him!!! We can not wait to meet him!!!
